LOL, it’s called sarcasm. I am making a mockery of all the dumb children who incessantly attribute random quotes to Kurt Cobain on tumblr. “I’d rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not” is a perfect example of such misquoting of Kurt. I am parodying tumblr culture. I’m well aware of the dates of Kurt’s death, GW Bush’s presidency and of Kanye West’s quote. I am more than old enough to recall these events, believe it or not. In fact, I even WATCHED Kanye say that live on tv! Imagine that! And if you saw my tags, you would notice I rather blatantly put “KANYE WEST” as the very first tag. But I suppose that wasn’t prominent enough!
